Xavier Huyberechts

Xavier Huyberechts

Xavier qualified in Belgium at the ISA St Luc in Brussels. He joined GLH in 1994 and became a partner in 1997. Xavier leads the practice as the principal designer, where his meticulous eye for detail is critical to every project. His experience includes a range of commercial, residential, and mixed-use schemes.
Briget Grosskopff

Briget Grosskopff

Briget qualified at the University of the Witwatersrand with degrees in both Architecture and Fine Arts. She joined GLH in 1994 and became a partner in 1997. She has a range of experience in commercial, healthcare, educational, performing arts, and gallery projects.
Louise O'Raw

Louise O'Raw

Louise qualified at Technikon Witwatersrand with an N Dip Arch, graduating as the best student in the country. She joined GLH as a student in 1991 and became a partner in 2004. She has successfully managed the practice's largest projects and excels at liaising with clients and resolving technical site challenges.
Leon Fourie

Leon Fourie

Leon graduated with an ND Arch Tech from the Technikon Pretoria and joined the office in 2003. He became a partner in 2018. Leon's strengths lie in his technical ability for detailing and his expertise in managing large projects.

Associates

Jason Tan

Jason Tan

Jason attained his Master of Architecture from the National University of Singapore with distinctions in design. He has received multiple design awards in both academia and practice and continues to push the envelope with each new project. Jason became an associate in 2024.
Clinton Angerson

Clinton Angerson

Clinton qualified at the Tshwane University of Technology with a Master of Architecture and became an associate at GLH in 2024. He excels in leading project teams within the commercial, residential, and industrial sectors, and is meticulous in delivering high-quality buildings.

Founders

Rodney Grosskopff

Rodney Grosskopff

Rodney Grosskopff joined Manfred Hermer’s practice in 1959 and became a partner in Manfred Hermer Grosskopff shortly after qualifying in 1966. This partnership formed the foundation of the firm known today as GLH.
Pierre Lombart

Pierre Lombart

Pierre qualified in Belgium and joined GLH Architects in 1984 as an architect and urban planner. He became a partner in 1987 and has served as Chairman since 2006, overseeing the firm's growth into an internationally recognised practice.
